vessels. Then there are whales, dolphins, eagles and seals close by. Directly
out in front of the home is Frenchmans’ Tyee Pool, where you will see
seals fishing for their evening meal of salmon.
The neighborhood is quiet and secure with Campbell River’s well known friendly people. The home is ideally situated just 5 minutes from downtown, with it’s shops, restaurants and pubs. Campbell River, the Salmon capital of the world, is noted for its’ abundant variety of fresh seafood. There is a small airport in town where many avid fishermen come direct from the United States and the rest of Canada to try their hand at Salmon fishing. The climate is very pleasing and has a mild winter. Vancouver Island is known as the Hawaii of Canada. If you enjoy golfing, then try out Campbell River’s three lovely golf courses. Kayaking, canoeing and hiking are also popular in one of the many nearby lakes. Mt. Washington ski resort, with it’s world class skiing is the training grounds for the 2010 olympics and is only half an hour away.
