FEATURES OF THE HOME
· I’m not sure if we have saved the best for last because each
room is truly a best in this house, but here it goes:
· The kitchen entertainment area is to say the least , spectacular.
To start with let’s look down again at the intricate inlaid natural
cherry wood and charcoal maple floors because as you look up at the cabinets
it feels as if they are an extension of this magnificent wood to the walls.
There’s a story to these cabinets - the artist that designed them had
a vision of finding a beautiful old corner hutch tucked away in some old farm
house then building all the surrounding cabinets to match. This resulted in
a spectacular kitchen that resembles furniture more than cabinets. The large
center island has 12” turned natural cherry wood posts and panels and
also has the built in stainless steal gas range. Add to this solid 1 ¼
inch granite from India that not only has the color of the natural cherry
wood but what looks like waves of grey sand and you have a perfect kitchen
for this beach front home.
· But that’s not it - the kitchen extends into the great room
or entertainment area, with its built in wet bar, unique cherry wood “porthole”
wine rack, floor to ceiling natural stone fireplace with drift wood mantle.
Double solid fir french doors lead out to the ocean view patio that extends
the full length of the house, so you can take the entertaining outside to
the stunning view.

There is a gentle winding path that takes you to a private beach to enjoy
a beach fire with your guests and watch the cruise ships go by on there way
to and from Alaska.
· Now to finish up the evening - off the kitchen there is a breakfast
nook area that has a detailed winding wrought iron staircase to a “
lighthouse” observatory room with arched windows and gentlly hanging
tiffany’s. It’s the perfect place to have that Scotch or cognac,
and if you like, there is even a private outside slate tiled deck so you can
lean on the rail and watch the lights of the boats as they pass by in the
strait.
